Paisley Turner 2010

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my profile and learn more about me! I started playing softball when I was in second grade in our parks and recreation league in Ozark, Missouri, and I fell in love with the game. When I was 11 years old I first started pitching. Immediately, I knew it was something I would become passionate about. I started to take lessons from my wonderful pitching coach Charissa Fuhr and she has helped me become the pitcher I am today.

I am a right-handed pitcher that utilizes a lot of up spin by throwing rise and curve balls. I also have a change up, screw ball, drop ball and fast ball that I pair with those pitches. I love to work all locations to throw batters off balance.

When I am not pitching I play any position in the outfield. I do not usually do it but I can also play any position in the infield too. For school ball at Ozark High School I pitch and play second base. I also love hitting. I hope to play in college and be a pitcher that hits. I do a lot of tee work and do a lot of weightlifting to improve my batting.

In my free time I like to watch movies, read books, and color. I really enjoy the freedom in creativity these activities allow for. It helps me relieve any stress I have from sports or life. I also participate in Track and Field at the varsity level. I throw Javelin and Discus for my school. Track has taught me a lot about my self and how to deal with failure. I think that it will help me achieve my dream of playing high level college softball.
